The What IF Plan is a plan for life and cheaper than Weight Watchers or Lighter Life!!!
Someone asked me the other day:
"How does your plan compare cost-wise to other weight loss plans?" and I am very happy to say "Cheaper especially as we are offering the plan at an introductory rate of £199."
Also, people tend to try several plans so the cost is obviously often doubled or even trebled.
The What IF Plan is a plan for life, and once you have received your DNA results of 31 genetic variants associated with weight loss and weight management, you receive a detailed but easy to understand report with your results and what they mean, recommendations, a genetically appropriate food list and 20 pages of easy to make recipes. All for £199 using promo code INTRO17 at the checkout
Whilst our genes are set from preconception and we can’t change them (blame our parents!) we can silence the not so good variants through our nutrition and lifestyle. Food truly can be “thy medicine!”
So how do we compare to some of our competitors then?
WeightWatchers – £10.70 registration fee, £6.25 per weekly meeting. Over 12 months cost is £341.
Let’s look at Weight Watchers first. The WeightWatchers plan is based on the SmartPoints system, which gives a value to foods and drink based on protein, carbs, fat and fibre content. It is essentially a calorie-controlled diet where you get a personal daily SmartPoints allowance, which you can use how you like.
There’s no limit on the amount of fruit and most veg you can eat. Great news advocating no limit on the vegetables (although we advise reduce starchy veg whilst upping the green veg) but the fruit for some people who are genetically very sensitive to carbs should be limited to 1-2 pieces a day.
However, feedback on WeightWatchers is that the “SmartPoints system can be just as time consuming as counting calories and some individuals feel pressured into buying WeightWatchers branded food.”
Slimming World – £10 registration fee, £4.95 per weekly meeting. Over 12 months cost is £271.
Let’s take a look at Slimming World – this weight loss plan encourages you to swap high-fat foods for low-fat foods. Whilst this may be suitable for someone with an increased genetic sensitivity to fats and saturated fats in particular, for some people with a low genetic sensitivity to fats this isn’t the right plan for them!
Feedback on Slimming World says “it doesn’t educate you about calories and without learning about calories and portion sizes, you may struggle to keep the weight off in the long-term when you come off the programme.”
LighterLife – £15 weekly fee. Over 12 months a massive £792.
Also, this doesn’t include the food packs – 4 per day recommended at £1.95 per food-pack that’s £7.80 per day and over 12 months would be £2,847.
Over 12 months cost is £3,639.
LighterLife is a very low calorie diet for those who are clinically obese with a BMI of over 30. However, such a low calorie diet, which involves continually eating 1000 calories or less EVERY day should not be followed for more than 12 continuous weeks! Also, if you are consuming less than 600 calories a day CONTINUALLY, you should have medical supervision.
With LighterLife Total, for people with a BMI of 30 or more, you eat four food packs a day, consisting of shakes, soups, mousses or bars, and no conventional food. LighterLife Lite, for those with a BMI of 25-30, involves eating three food packs a day, plus one meal from a list of approved foods.
Feedback on LighterLife says “Surviving on a strict diet of shakes and soups and other meal replacements isn’t much fun, and can feel socially isolating. It is not sustainable.”
That is the one thing where The What IF Plan really differs – it is sustainable as it is a plan for life!
Most women give up diets after 5 weeks, 2 days and 43 minutes!
But we can assure you this won’t be the case with The What IF Plan. It has been described by successful “What IF” advocates as “effortless”, “part of my life now”, “literally only need to follow this plan now”, “the easiest and best plan I have ever been on” and “it uses scientific and proven protocols and it works!”
